Last weekend my family all went hot tubbing one night and we took Kai. Since he had just pooped we figured it'd be awhile until the next one so we just undressed him and my dad held him while he sat on the step. After about 10 or 15 minutes Kai ripped a big one, but we thought it was just gas until we saw little floaties! My dad lifted him up and yellow poop was all over! So... my mom bought him some swim diapers and an awesome ladybug floater and my little sis and I took Malakai for a swim yesterday. It was such perfect weather, and our jacuzzi felt just like a bath tub. Kai was DIGGIN' it! He was so much fun to have in there with us. This summer's gonna be the best!

More Malakai

When Malakai was 2 weeks old we had these CUTE pictures taken of him by Kellie Larsen at elements photography. I know I just barely posted a collage of him, but I couldn't resist! And look! I learned how to make a real collage. Pretty cool, huh?

We have had a busy week! Tuesday the 8th was my birthday, and Kai turned 1 month old! Birthdays are pretty lame when you get old, so it wasn't anything special. My parents took Josh, Kai, and me to lunch up at the Ledges which was so awesome! I hadn't eaten there before and it was super good. Plus, just the atmosphere and surroundings are so pretty that it just makes it that much better. After lunch we pretty much just hung out until later, and then went and got $1 ice creams at Baskin Robbins. It was pretty sweet... a real cultural shocker. I don't want to say too much, but St. George is being taken over! Go check it out for yourself. The ice cream is really good! Anyway... then Josh's brother was baptized Saturday and confirmed Sunday morning, along with Kai's blessing on Sunday as well. There were 3 baby blessings in our ward that day, and compared to the other babies Kai looked so big! The other 2 babies were these tiny little things, just sleeping soundly. Then Josh holds up Kai after he blessed him and he's this massive baby just wide awake, hanging out. He looked so cute in his little outfit! Since Josh's birthday is just right around the corner we decided to share a big, cool present that we will actually use, so we bought a Nikon SLR. It's so dang cool and lucky for us we have a little model living with us! We have loved having a big, nice camera to take pictures of our cute little babe! I'm sure you will be seeing lots of pictures because I'm obsessed with it! And if you can't tell, I don't know how to do a collage... Someone help!

OUR BIG BOY
Malakai is growing so quick, I just thought I would add a couple random pictures of our cute baby boy! He has already gained 2 pounds so his little body is fattening up quite nicely!

The Man
I just wanted to give a "hats off" to the man who always knows the perfect day for the perfect treat... the ice cream man. As I was taking Kai for a walk today, my ears suddenly heard the refreshing sound of "It's a Small World" coming around the corner. At once, I knew who it was. Who doesn't recognize the ice cream man when they hear him? With all the technology and new ways of life, what a wonderful thing it is to know that on a beautiful spring day the ice cream man will still come and spread his frozen cheer... it's so American. So thank you ice cream man for sticking with us.

COCO
Last night my family went to the Colbie Caillat concert at Tuachan. It was amazing! I didn't expect her to sound so good. She sounded better in concert than on her CD, and if you have heard her CD, it's freaking awesome. If any of you get the chance to see her in concert I highly recommend it. I definitely wouldn't pass up the opportunity to see her again!
